Bacon Wrapped Hotdogs Recipe
Bacon Wrapped Hotdogs are a tasty twist on the traditional hotdog. Wrapping hotdogs in bacon imparts a smoky, salty flavor and a crispy texture that complements soft hotdog buns and flavorful toppings.
Ingredients
- 8 hotdogs
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 8 hotdog buns
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 1/4 cup of mustard
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 25 minutes
- Total Time: 35 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200 degrees C).
- Place each hotdog on a baking sheet with one slice of bacon wrapped around it.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp.
- Prepare the toppings while the hotdogs are cooking by combining ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
- Place the hotdogs in the buns and top with the prepared sauce, diced onions, and shredded cheddar cheese.
