Chives Wrapped in Bacon Recipe
These bacon-wrapped chives are an excellent appetiser for any occasion. The sweet and smoky flavor of the bacon perfectly complements the freshness of the chives.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 36 chives
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 slices bacon
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 25 minutes
- Total Time: 40 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine the brown sugar, paprika, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Each bacon slice should be cut into thirds.
- Wrap each chive in bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- To coat, roll each bacon-wrapped chive in the brown sugar mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chive bundles on it.
- 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving after removing from the oven.
