Perfect for Cooking Crispy Bacon in the Oven Without the Mess
Bacon and Egg on Toast Recipe
A traditional breakfast dish that is simple to prepare and always satisfying. Every time, the combination of crispy bacon, a perfectly fried egg, and toasted bread is a winner.
Ingredients
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 2 strips bacon
- For frying, use butter or oil
- 2 slices of bread
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the bacon strips until they are crispy, about 4 minutes per side.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
- If necessary, add a little butter or oil to the same pan.
- Crack the egg into the pan and fry until done to your liking.
- Toast the bread slices to your liking while the egg cooks.
- If desired, lightly butter the toast when it is done.
- Place the bacon on one of the toast slices, followed by the fried egg.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Finish with the last slice of toast.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
