Bacon and Egg on Toast Recipe

A traditional breakfast dish that is simple to prepare and always satisfying. Every time, the combination of crispy bacon, a perfectly fried egg, and toasted bread is a winner.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the bacon strips until they are crispy, about 4 minutes per side.
  • Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
  • If necessary, add a little butter or oil to the same pan.
  • Crack the egg into the pan and fry until done to your liking.
  • Toast the bread slices to your liking while the egg cooks.
  • If desired, lightly butter the toast when it is done.
  • Place the bacon on one of the toast slices, followed by the fried egg.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Finish with the last slice of toast.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
