  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Cook the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash.
  • Mix in the flour, egg, and salt until well combined with the mashed potatoes.
  • Make small balls out of the potato mixture.
  • A large pot of salted water should be brought to a boil.
  • Cook the potato balls for about 10 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  • In the meantime, cook the diced bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  • With a slotted spoon, remove the cooked dumplings from the water and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Serve the dumplings with the crispy bacon and fresh dill on top.
